Rachel Murphy

As part of the Smart Clothing and Wearable Technology team supported by HEFCEW, in collaboration with University of Wales, Cardiff.

Rachel Murphy is undertaking a collaborative research degree with University of Wales, Newport and University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Her specialisation is in Wearable Technology and Digital/Electronic Jewellery. Rachel holds an MA in Computer Related Design from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Three Dimensional Design from University of Wales, Newport. Her publications include

  • Memory Box - Handheld and Ubiquitous Computing Conference, Personal Technologies Journal, 2000 Rachel Murphy and David Frohlich.

Her work has been exhibited at East Sussex Archive Office, Lewes, The Light House, Glasgow, the "High Definition" exhibition, Hong Kong & New Designers, London, Rachel also has nine patents pending and two patents granted.
